Howard S. Dugan Obituary (1915

Howard S. Dugan, 90, of Taylorville, IL formerly of Morrisonville, IL died at 5:40 am Thursday, August 11, 2005 at Aspen Ridge Nursing Home, Decatur, IL. He was born June 28, 1915 in Crystal City, MO the son of George and Josie B. Curvey Dugan. On May 12, 1936 he married Darlene E. Bullard in Morrisonville, IL and she preceded in death on February 5, 1999. Mr. Dugan was a graduate of Harvel High School, and retired from Caterpillar Tractor Co. as a Supervisor in the Machine Training Department. After retirement, Mr. Dugan and his wife farmed in the Morrisonville area. He was also a lay minister and loved singing and playing the guitar. Surviving are his daughters: Donna Dugan-Booker of Peoria, IL; Peggy Dugan of St. Louis, MO; 3 grandchildren: Marcee King and husband Mark of Soldiers Grove, WI; Jason Booker of Morton and Colette Lutes and husband Michael all of Morton, IL; 3 Great Grandchildren: Hannah King and Keegan King both of Soldiers Grove, WI and Alexiah Lutes of Morton, IL. Sister: Mae Tarrant of Taylorville, IL. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm Monday, August 15, 2005 at McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL with Rev. Bill Frazier officiating. Burial will be in Morrisonville Cemetery, Morrisonville, IL. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of service in the funeral home on Monday.
