Henry Lee Rambo Obituary (1932 - 2024)

Henry Lee Rambo, 91, of Pontiac, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. Cremation rites will be accorded with a Celebration of Life at a later date. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Henry was born on February 17, 1932, in Lutesville, MO to Neil and Lela (Stevens) Rambo. He married Wanda Goad on May 21, 1954, in St. Louis, MO. She survives in Pontiac. Also surviving are his sons, Richard (Debra) Rambo of Pontiac, Philip (Jill) Rambo of Pontiac, Douglas (Judy) Rambo of Greenbriar, AR, and David (Nancy) Rambo of North Port, FL; brother, Jesse (Betty) Rambo of Marble Hill, MO; 14 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; half-brother, C.L. Duckett; grandson, Matthew Rambo; and granddaughter, Lacy Rambo. Henry was employed by Pontiac Chair Factory, and Chief City Redi-Mix. He was Lutheran by faith. He belonged to Rustic Auto and Pontiac Moose Lodge. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
