Helen G. Keller

Helen G. Keller, 94, of Springfield, IL formerly of Taylorville, died at 2:35 pm Sunday, November 22, 2009 at Lewis Memorial Christian Home, Springfield.

She was born March 10, 1915 in Chillicothe, Missouri the daughter of Virgil and Louella Myers Kennedy. On November 22, 1952 she married Rex Keller at Pittsfield, IL and he preceded her in death on June 24, 1991. Mrs. Keller and her husband owned and operated Rex's Farm Store south of Taylorville, retiring in 1971. She was a member of Provident United Methodist Church.

Surviving is her son Phillip Keller and wife Jan of Springfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 25 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville with Rev. Stan Summers officiating. There will be no visitation. McClure Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
