Helen Eva Coffey

Helen Eva Coffey, 94 died at 7:56 a.m., Tuesday, July. 19, 2011, at the Taylorville Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, IL. She was born September 1, 1916, in Taylorville, IL, to Clyde and Mabel (Vancil) Clements. She married Kenneth L. Coffey on August 24, 1935 in Taylorville, IL. He Preceded her in death on July 18, 1991. She was a retired homemaker. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church of Taylorville, and the W.M.S. She was also a 30 year member of the H.E.A. Survivors include her son, Sidney (Linda) Coffey; daughter-in-law: Pat Coffey of Waukee, IA: six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; sister: Shirley (Elmer) Covalesky: several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Leroy Coffey; daughter: Marilyn Rine; sisters: Mildred Bradley, Maxine Brower, Delores Fisher and Linda Shipley.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Sutton Memorial Home, Taylorville. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Moday, July 25, 2011 at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Rev. Dick Wamsley will officiate, Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.
