Hazel Williams

Hazel Williams, 85, of Mt. Auburn, passed away November 30, 2012 at 5:00 a.m. at her residence in Mt. Auburn. She was born January 21, 1927 in English, IN., the daughter of Ernest and Thelma (Sullivan) Cunningham. She married Paul Wayne Williams on March 5, 1946 in Henderson, KY and he later preceded her in death on January 23, 1994. She was retired from K Mart retail Associate in Springfield, IL.
She is survived by daughters; Stella (widow of Rodney) Williams of Taylorville, Janiece (David) Braun of Warrensburg, IL, Paula (Richard) Burchett of Mt. Auburn, Il. and Donna (Scott) Chambers of Latham, IL.; grandchildren, Rodney Jr. (Renae) Williams, Stacey (Bruce) Buckellew, Jeff Williams, SSGT. Jason (Pauline) Williams, Jennifer Williams, Joseph W. (Gina) Braun, Patrick D. (Amy) Braun, Shawn Provines, Tonya (Gabe) Gideon, Melissa (Brian) Kriener, Kirby (Tim) Bernauner, Kaley Jo Lohse; twenty-eight great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded by her parents, husband, Son Rodney Sr., 4 brothers, Ralph, Arthur, Willis, Roy Lee Cunningham; one granddaughter, Beverly Jo Conner and an infant great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 10:00am at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville with Rev. Dan Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn. Visitation will be held Monday, December 3, 2012 from 5:00-8:00pm at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville.
