Harold I. Knight, 62, of Buckingham, IL passed away at 5:48 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Presence St. Mary's Hospital in Kankakee, IL.
Funeral services will be 7:00PM Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL. Visitation will be from 4pm until the time of services also on Thursday at Hager Memorial Home in Dwight, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services
Harold was born November 25, 1955 in Joliet, IL a son of Donald and Janice (Will) Knight.
Surviving are three sons; Robert Knight of Arizona, Harold I. (Krystal Coleman) Knight Jr of Dwight, Douglas (Lori Horton) Pehlke of Saunemin, IL; daughters, Danelia (Joe) Bickett of Pontiac, IL, Lisa (Sisco) Whiteeagle of Nebraska, Dale (Ray) Gosse of Campus, IL; 19 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; his mother of Joliet, IL; two brothers, Donald L. (Maryann) Knight of Shorewood, IL, Dave (Karen Lantz) Knight of Braidwood, IL; 4 sisters, Sarah (Lowell) Alice of Oklahoma, Donna Tacchia of Rockdale, IL, Lori (Mike)Graves of Belvidere, IL, Regina (Mike) Strobach of Belvidere, IL; numerous nieces and Nephews and his beloved dogs Sasha and Layla. He was preceded in death by his father, paternal grandparents, Donald L. and Bessie (Frye) Knight, maternal grandparents, James and Vera (Withrow) Will and numerous aunts and uncles.
He worked over the years for Farm Service Inc. as a truck driver. Memorials in honor of Harold may be made to his children.
