He enjoyed life to the fullest. He raced motocross for years, he was a private pilot, he skydived with Illinois Valley Parachute Club and was an open water, specialty and rescue diver with Midwest Diving Specialists.
He enjoyed snow skiing and was an avid Harley Rider.
Greg had many friends and family in California where he lived many years.

It would be impossible to name every one of his good friends because he had so many. The amount of people that have reached out to us this week is indescribable.

Greg surrounded himself with so many great friends and considered them family. He had a community of friends at the Danvers Vault and the Danvers Y. He also had the best neighbors/friends who were always looking out for him.

Thank you to Russ Anderson, his best friend for over 50 years, Bruce and Kathy Bober, John Miller, Mark Gillis, Zach White, and Mark Smith.
Denise Smith, thank you for loving Greg as much as you did.
Behind Greg's thick skin and stubborn attitude was a man with a very large heart. He will be greatly missed by anyone who knew him.
We will be having a Celebration of Life this Spring at The Vault in Danvers.
