Grady Horton

Grady Gene Horton, 52, of Pana passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026 in his home. He was born May 23, 1974 in Alabama, son of the late Marvin Horton, Sr. & Sheila (Hall) Horton Sarver.
Grady had worked as a boilermaker. He was a past member of the Pana Sportsman’s Club and enjoyed gardening, fishing & cooking. He was an avid Alabama and Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Grady is survived by his children: Cody Horton, Pana, IL; Kayla (Zach) Burget, Pana, IL; Garrett Horton, Pana, IL; Olivia Horton; grandchildren: Zayden Powyszynski & Emma Burget and brothers: Marty Horton, Pana, IL; Eric Horton, Lenoir City, TN; Wes (Amanda) Horton, Pana, IL.
A funeral service for Grady will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Memorials in Grady’s honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family.
