Gracie E. Kendall Obituary (1918

Gracie E. Kendall, 82, of Taylorville, IL died at 7:44 AM Monday, March 19, 2001 at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville. She was born June 4, 1918 in Rosamond, IL, the daughter of Henry M and Vereal Cameron Todd. On October 21, 1951 she married Raymond Kendall and he preceded in death on November 2, 1970. She was a member of the First Christian Chruch of Blue Mound; Royal Neighbors Camp #678, Taylorville, and the L.A. of A.T.A., Osbornville, IL. Mrs. Kendall was the former Tax assesor for Mosquito Township, Christian County, IL. She is survived by her son, John Mac Kendall and wife Nancy of Macon, IL. Two granddaughters, Reta Kendall and Ashley Kendall. One cousin, Josephine Friederich also survives. Her parents, husband, and twin sisters preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 22, 2001 at Connolly-McClure Funeral Home Taylorville with Rev. Ellen Rechenbacch officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery, Assumption, IL. The suggested memorials are to the Taylorville Fire Department or the charity of the donor's choice.
