Goldie M. Gilpin, 94, of Taylorville, IL died at 11:15 am, Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Meadow Manor Nursing Home, Taylorville She was born September 10, 1917 in Beecher City, IL, the daughter of Leslie and Alice Gowler Hulsapple. On Febtuary 12, 1938 she married Earl A. Gilpin in St. Charles, MO and he preceded her in death on January 20, 1984. Mrs. Gilpin was a homemaker and a member of Davis Memorial Christian Church. Surviving are her Children: Gerry Gilpin and Lonnie Gilpin of Taylorville and Janice Solis of Tucson, AZ. There are 6 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, and one Great-great Grandchild. Private Family Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville.
