Glenda Marie Summers 68 of Pontiac, IL died Sunday March 3,2024 at 9:25am at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac, IL Cremations rites will be accorded and a private family graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Pontiac, IL. Memorials in Glenda’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Pontiac is handling the arrangements. Glenda was born on April 17, 1955 in Pontiac, IL a daughter of Stanley and Leona (Meredith) Crews. She married Danny Summers in Pontiac on June 14, 1980. They later divorced. Survivors include: long time significant other: Terry Fosdick of Pontiac, IL; three sons: Aaron (Amy Harder) Summers of Pontiac, IL, Cody (Nicole) Fosdick of Minooka, IL and Nathan Fosdick of Pontiac, Il; two step-sons: Jeremy (Tanya) Fosdick of Peoria, Il and Jason (Abbey) Fosdick of Pontiac, IL; nine grandchildren; one brother: Stanley Crews of Pontiac, IL and one sister: Stacey Kesler of Pontiac, IL. Glenda was preceded in death by her parents and one sister: Brenda. Glenda was educated in Pontiac and Cornell schools. She was employed at Fiesta Restaurant in Pontiac and then worked at the Livingston County jail for 22 years. Glenda loved playing cards and bingo.
