Gladys M. Sailsbery Obituary (1905

Gladys M. Sailsbery, 99, of Stonington, IL died at 7:50 am Tuesday, December 07, 2004 in St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, IL. She was born September 9, 1905 in Macon County, IL the daughter of W.A. and Margaret Griffith Carr. On July 18, 1928 she married Lee F. Sailsbery in Greenville, IL and he preceded in death on May 22, 1978. Mrs. Sailsbery was a member of the Stonington United Methodist Church, Stonington Woman's Club and Blue Mound O.E.S Chapter #327. Survivors include her daughter, Arlene Gordon and husband Harold of Stonington, IL and two grandsons, Ed Gordon of St. John, IN and Tom Gordon of Hammond, IN. Her husband, parents and 1 brother preceded in death. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Thursday, December 9, 2004 in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will be in Old Stonington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Stonington United Methodist Church or Shriner's Hospital for Children
