George Junior Bell

George Junior "June" Bell, 85, of Taylorville, IL died at 1:15 am Thursday, October 09, 2008 at his residence.
He was born September 1, 1923 in Menard County, IL the son of George Henry and Elizabeth Neely Bell. He first married Eula Marie Dowell on December 5, 1948 and she died January 31, 1986. He then married Roslinda Churchill Midden on October 15, 1988. Mr. Bell was an Army veteran of World War II, member of the American Legion Post 73, and was a 50 year member of the Plumber and Pipefitters Local 137 in Springfield.
Surviving are his wife: Rose Bell of Taylorville, Son: Terry A. Bell and wife Wendy of Lincoln; 2 Daughters: Susan Judd of Auburn, Cyndi Prosser and husband Chuck of St. Louis, Step-children: Susan Midden and Companion Randy Huggins of Springfield and Donna Midden and Companion Doug Cody of Riverton and Greg Midden of Taylorville. 6 Grandchildren: Cory Bell, Cary Bell, Sarah Judd DeGraff, Rachael Judd, Andy Prosser and Lindsay Prosser. Great Grandson: Kavan Prosser. 2 Step-Grandchildren: Amanda Midden and Alexa Bates. Brother: Richard E. Bell of Birch Tree, MO and a sister: Anna Marie Neal of Dixon, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Marshall Bell and 2 Sisters: Hazel Nissen and Gwen Dowell.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Riverton, IL. Visitation will be held at McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Monday.
