Fredrick C. "Fred" Heintzman Obituary (1955

Fredrick C Heintzman, 70, of Lexington, died on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Cremation rites were accorded, and a celebration of life will be Saturday May 16th at the Lexington Community Center. A private family burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Lexington at a later date. Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Memorial Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Fred was born October 1, 1955, in Normal, IL, the son of Harold and Florence Heintzman. He married Linda Grimsley on February 14, 1975, in Bloomington. He is survived by his fiancé, Debbie Abbott, Lexington, IL; two sons, Thomas (Jennifer) Heintzman, Williamsville; Timothy (Emily) Heintzman, Bloomington; and one daughter, Angela (DJ Freidinger) Heintzman of Bloomington; brothers, Jim Heintzman (Prescott, AZ), Marty Heintzman (Maui, HI), Dan Heintzman (Riverside, CA), Paul Heintzman (Riverton, IL), and John Heintzman (Chicago, IL), one sister, Linda Limer (Normal, IL); and 3 grandchildren, Louis and Joseph Heintzman, and Brody Roberts. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Linda. Fred was a graduate of Normal Community High School and was employed by General Electric, from which he retired in 2010. He was a family man through and through and loved using his countless skills to help whenever he could. When he wasn’t on the golf course, remodeling houses and building cars were things he did in his spare time. He was also an avid fan of the local live music scene. Fred will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering work ethic, and love for his family. His kind heart and laughter were gifts to everyone who knew him.
