On November 28th, 2020 Frank Forrest Short II, was called home at 11:26 am. Frank was surrounded by his immediate family at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.\r\n Frank is survived by his mother, Martha Sam; Sister, Kimblyn Persaud (Clifton), and Eric Short (Amy). He will be lovingly remembered by his nephew, Tallon Short; Aunt and Uncle Leonard and Mary Horton; Gloria Ann and AC- Nemo Cole and Cousins, Shelia Thompson, Patrick Miller, Godfrey Miller, Tyrone Johns, Stephanie Johns. \r\n\r\nFrank was a 1988 graduate of Bloomington High School. He received an Associate Degree from Lincoln College in 1991. In 1993 Frank received a business certificate from US Long Distance San Antonio, TX. \r\n\r\nWrestling was Frank's passion in high school and college. He was an All American and National Qualifier and continued to mentor others in the sport he loved. \r\n\r\nFrank, never met a stranger and was the life of every party. He would give you his last, if you were in need. He was a hard and dedicated worker, who wouldn't finish a job until it was right. To know Frank was to love him. Frank Short will be missed by many! \r\n\r\nIn Frank's honor a celebration of his life will be held (after Covid restrictions are lifted), where we will all tip our glasses in true Frank fashion. RIP Frank Short - my son, my brother, my friend!
