Elwyn Lee Kintner Jr. (Squeek) 69 of Pontiac, IL finally got to hold his little girl again on February 4, 2024, at 8:00 am surrounded by loved ones at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac IL after a courageous fight with cancer. Cremation rites will be accorded, and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Squeek’s second home, Faith Fellowship Church in Fairbury from 10 am to noon. Memorials in Squeek’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Pontiac is handling the arrangements. Squeek busted onto the scene on January 4, 1955, the son of Elwyn Lee Kintner Sr. and Clara (Mojzesz) Kintner. On June 19, 1976, he married the love of his life, Susan Ottens; she survives in Pontiac. Also surviving the wrath of Squeek are 4 boys, Jason (Rosa) Kintner of Secor IL, Joseph (Jill) Kintner of Bloomington IL, Jared (Rachael) Kintner also of Bloomington IL, and Jordan (Amanda) Kintner of Saybrook IL; eight beautiful grandchildren: Piper, Ryleigh, Lily, Callan, Braxton, Rhett, Presley, and Lawson, as well as one sister Kate (Jim) Seel of Lansing, IL. Squeek was preceded in death by his parents and his precious daughter Kelly. A few years after graduating from Bremen High School, Squeek and the family packed up and moved to Cropsey where he worked at PTC Alliance in Fairbury for 25+ years. He was a member of the Markham Fire Department from 1974-1989 and Cropsey Fire Department from 1989-2011. He was a die-hard member of the Faith Fellowship Christian Church in Fairbury and an avid FALS race fan.
