Ella M. Hoegger

Ella M. Hoegger, 92, of Odell, passed away Saturday, February 01, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in Odell.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Odell. Father Peter Zorjan will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery in Odell.

Friends may call on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Odell. The Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ella was born on March 29, 1921 in Pontiac, IL, daughter of Daniel and Julia (Abry) Cleary. She married Earl Hoegger on September 13, 1947 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Odell, IL. He survives in Odell, IL.

Also surviving are two sons, William Hoegger of Odell, IL and Jerry Hoegger of Dallas, TX; one daughter, Elaine (Daniel) Rentz of Odell, IL; two grandchildren, Brittney (Alex) Arbogast and Keenen Rentz; and one great grandchild, Avery Arbogast.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Evelyn Goldsberry; and one brother, Leo Cleary.

Ella graduated from St. Paul Catholic High School in Odell, IL and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Odell, IL. She greatly enjoyed church activities at St. Paul. She was a past member of Catholic Daughters.
