Elizabeth A. Powlas, 93, of Pontiac, formerly of Peru, IL passed away Friday, April 19, 2019 at OSF St. James John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac. Cremation rites will be accorded with a private family service to be held at a later date. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Elizabeth was born March 18, 1926 in Iowa Falls, IA to Harry and Mary Reynolds. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Harold) Deneka of Midlothian, IL and Pete (Donna) Powlas of Pontiac, IL; granddaughters, Katherine Deneka and Anna (Ryan) Hopper; and great-grandson, Michael Hopper. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter W. Powlas; and daughters, Susan Ahnger and Nancy Lyberger. Elizabeth was a homemaker.
