E. Pauline Cowgill 99, of Decatur, IL passed away at 10:24 p.m., Sunday, August 6, 2017, in Decatur Memorial Hospital. A private family service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with services. Pauline was born January 20, 1918, in Macon County, IL the daughter of Robert and Mabel (Myers) Cowgill Sr. She retired as a waitress and pie baker from the Mt. Zion Caf. Left to cherish her memory are numerous nieces and nephews. She was beloved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Ethel Cowgill, Mary Workman, and Shirley Peyton and her brothers: Robert Cowgill Jr. and Herbert Cowgill.
