Dr. Glenn W. Payton Obituary (1963

Dr. Glenn W. Payton, 60, of El Paso, IL passed away at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2024, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal. Private family services will be held with his brother-in-law Randy Kelly officiating and burial in Secor Cemetery. The family requested memorials to the El Paso Emergency Squad. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso is assisting the family with services. Dr. Payton was born September 29, 1963, in Shelbyville, KY, the son of Arthur and Alice Smitha Payton. He married Pamela Zimmerman on March 14, 1992, in Washington, IL. She survives along with six children Malissa (Mike) Baker of Washington, Mindy (John) Puckett of Chenoa, Brandon Heibenthal, Mallory Heibenthal both of El Paso, Alana (Alan) Ahnafield of Indianapolis, IN, and Rhys Payton of El Paso; two brothers Barry (Pam) Payton of Kentucky, and Mark (Michelle) Payton of Salt Lake City, UT; ten grandchildren Britt, Dylan, Austin, Ethan, Hayley, Braden, Teigan, Braxton, Adelina, and Athena; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Dr. Payton graduated from the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY and Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He owned and operated El Paso Chiropractic Clinic. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.
