Dorothy L. Young

Dorothy L. Young, 92, of Taylorville, IL died at 5:15 am Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at her residence.

She was born October 17, 1916 in Decatur, IL the daughter of Marion and Ida Belle Cremeens Allen. On September 17, 1942 she married Lyle Young in Decatur, IL.

Surviving are her husband Lyle Young of Taylorville, Children: Priscilla Lobb and husband Larry of Hoopeston, IL, Mary Kinnamon and husband Pete of Lakeland, FL, Margaret Dyer and husband Ray of Kallispell, MT, Jim Young of Cottage Hills, IL and Bill Young and wife Mindy of Blue Mound, IL. 12 Grandchildren: Debbie Lambert and husband Bryon of Phoenix, OR, David Lobb of Phoenix, OR, Michael Kinnamon, Theresa Byrd and husband Steve, Brian Kinnamon all of Lakeland, FL, Matthew Dyer and wife Jessica and Leslie Dyer all of Kallispell, MT, Shilo French of Carson City, NV, Kyle Young and wife Sarah, Alex Young, Luke Young and Ryan France all of Blue Mound. 5 Great Grandchildren: Jermanie Lambert, Jessica Lambert, Jerod Lambert, Nathan Byrd,Kayla Byrd and Gabriel Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 27, 2009 at McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville with Pastor Bob Spurgin officiating. Burial will be in Hall Cemetery, Blue Mound, IL. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service in the funeral home on Friday.
