Doris Jean "Dee" Waggoner passed away on Friday April 17, 2020 in Decatur, IL. A service to celebrate Dee's life will be held at a later date. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. She was born on September 28, 1932 in Bloomington, IL to Frank & Capitola Phares. Dee married David Waggoner on June 30, 1956 in Bloomington, IL. Dee was a homemaker and life-long member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. In Dee's free time she enjoyed china painting, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren. Dee always bragged that she had the best family in the world, she was the heart of our family. Dee is survived by her husband David of Decatur, Daughters: Jodi (Steven) McKean of Long Creek, June Bunch of Decatur.
