Doran "Dusty" Miller Obituary (1985

Doran “Dusty” Miller, 39 of Virden, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born September 11, 1985 in Springfield, the son of Doran Eugene and Kay Miller. Dusty was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He loved watching football and had excelled playing it when he was younger. He loved cooking out, smoking meat, and his dog, LeRoy. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them. Dusty is survived by his mother, Kay; brothers, Gregory Miller, Jeffrey Miller and Josh (Christina) Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother, Christopher Miller. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Virden with Reverend Kelly Mitteis officiating. Burial will follow at Virden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Friday, May 16, 2025 at Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home in Virden. Memorials are suggested and may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church and will be received by Airsman & Calvert Funeral Home in Virden who is honored to be caring for Dusty’s family.
