Donna Roby

Donna Lee Roby 85, of Decatur, IL passed away at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, October 24, 2026, in her residence.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek. The family will receive friends for visitation Monday evening, November 2,2026, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. Donna was born May 26, 1941, in Lake City, IL the daughter of Donald and Virgina (Van Horn) Cripe. She was a graduate of Lovington High School and attended Brown’s Business College. Donna had formerly worked for Wabash Railroad and Mueller Company. She came to faith attending the La Place Church of the Brethren and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Zion. Donna had a passion for music, played the piano and enjoyed singing at weddings and in the choral. She enjoyed cooking. Donna married Jack Roby on January 1, 1970.

Surviving is her husband Jack of Decatur; sons: Lance G. Roby (Terry) of Mentor-on-the- Lake, OH and Brett A. Roby (Cindy) of Dunedin, FL; granddaughters: Hannah Brooke Roby and Taylor Renee Riley (Jordan); great grandson: Crayden Riley.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents.
