Devin C. Williams Obituary (1995

MINONK- Devin Christopher Williams, 28, of Normal, formerly of Minonk, passed away on June 11, 2024, at Carle Bromenn Medical Center ER. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Calvert-Johnson Memorial Home in Minonk. Graveside US Marine Honors will follow at 1:30 PM at Rutland Cemetery in Rutland. Memorials may be given to the family for a fund for his children. In addition, a GoFundMe has been set up for his children. Calvert-Johnson Memorial Home in Minonk is in charge of arrangements. Devin was born in Bloomington on December 8, 1995, a son to Tammy Weiland and Patrick Williams. He is survived by his children, Carter and Alexandra, siblings, Erica (Alex) Etcheson, Morgan (Daniel) Hubbard, Alyssa Volk, Zack Williams, and Ryan Williams, his parents, and grandparents, Betty Barth, Dave Weiland, and Earline Williams. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Vernon Barth and Charles Williams. Devin graduated from Fieldcrest High School in 2014. Shortly after graduation, he joined the Marine Corps, where he met many life-long friends throughout his time served. He was a State Farm employee at the time of his death. Devin was an amazing father and would do anything for his children. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend. There are no goodbyes for us, just see you laters. Wherever we are and wherever we go, you will always be in our hearts.
