Dennis R. Marliere Obituary (1957

Henry: Dennis R. Marliere, 68, of Henry, passed away Tuesday April 1, 2025, at 5:00 am at Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, Peoria. Upon Dennis’s request there will be no services. Memorials may be directed to charity of the donors’ choice. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry, is assisting the family with arrangements. Dennis was born March 20, 1957, in Peoria, IL to Donald and Cleone (Davidson) Marliere. He married Jeanne Webster and had one daughter, Elizabeth. He later married Roberta Stringer. They both are preceded. Surviving is his daughter, Elizabeth (Andrew) Crilly, of Chillicothe, grandson, Hunter Crilly. Also surviving are his siblings, Dale Marliere, of Henry, Juanita (Alan) Bumgardner, of Henry, Denise Shofner, of Henry, Julie (Ron) Lipsey, of Henry, Tina (Jim) Schmitt, of Lacon, and Tammie Marliere, of Peoria, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His parents, an infant brother, Darrell and a brother-in-law, Bob Shofner, preceded him in death. Dennis had worked several jobs, and was last working at Ajinomoto Foods, Toluca. He enjoyed traveling, going to flea markets and was always up for a road trip. He loved his four-legged friends, and leaves behind his dog Stormie.
