Denise I. McCabe Obituary (1959

Denise I. McCabe, 64 of Chenoa, IL died Tuesday February 13, 2024, at 8:37pm at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials in Denise’s name may be made to Illinois Cancer Care of Bloomington. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac is handling the arrangements. Denise was born on August 14, 1959, in Pontiac, IL a daughter of Harold and Frieda (Lorance) King. She married Ron McCabe on March 5, 2005, in Las Vegas, NV. He survives in Chenoa, IL. Also surviving are four brothers: Harold “Sonny” King of Cornell, IL, Robert King of Chenoa, IL., Phillip King and Mike King both of Cullom, IL; two sisters: Trudy King-Beller of Pontiac, IL and Pam (Rodger) Ryerson of Pontiac, IL. Denise is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Denise was preceded in death by one brother-in-law: DeWayne Beller and her parents. She was educated in Chenoa schools. Denise was a member of ABATE of Illinois and the VFW Auxiliary. Denise lived a life where if you were a friend that meant you were family. Family was the foundation of her life. From shooting pool at the Green Parrot to dirt track racing in Fairbury this beautiful woman lived her life to the fullest. She was a mother to many who needed a mother’s love and did so unconditionally. There will forever be a hole in the hearts of those who love her. Denises love is never ending.
