Henry: Delores Maxine Dyer, 89, of Henry, passed away Friday November 14, 2025, 12:58 pm at her home in Henry. Cremation rites have been accorded. A family service will be held at a later date. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry is assisting with the arrangements. Delores was born on December 29, 1935, in Beardstown, IL to Herbert and Elva Ada (Fanshier) Edwards. Surviving are her children, Elva Fletcher, of East Moline, James (Linda) Barajas, of Henry, Ladonna Walden, of Rushville, Phillip Barajas Jr, of Jacksonville, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, her brother, Vern (Freda) Edwards, of Barry, IL. Her parents, son, David Barajas, daughter, Delores E. Sherieck, great-grandson, James LeRoy Barajas, three sisters, Mary Lemmons, Edna Fueling, Charlotte Huddelston and three brothers, Louis Edwards and Herbert Edwards, Jr., and Thomas Edwards preceded her in death. Delores was a member of the River of Life, United Pentecostal Church, Henry. She had held many different jobs during her life, the last was managing apartments in California.
