Delores Fearn

Delores Maxine (Rider) Fearn, 96, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL. She was born June 4, 1929 to the late Earl & Gladys Rider. She enjoyed the simple life with her 4 sisters and brother in Pana. After high school, she worked at a drug store and this would be where she met a sailor, recently home from WWII. Chuck Fearn would become her husband and life-long love on July 9, 1947. They shared 67 years of marriage and many adventures together. She leaves behind a legacy of generosity, creativity and unwavering devotion to her family.
Dee is survived by her daughters: Jacalyn (Larry) Weil & Sandra (Randy) Talbert; grandchildren: Molly (Steve) Catalano & Hunter Talbert; great grandchildren: Lucas & Hailey Catalano; sisters: Shirley DeClerck, Barb Turner & Sue Jeffers and “Aunt Dee” to numerous nieces & nephews and a friend to many. Dee was greeted in heaven by her parents; husband; brother, Rex Rider and sister, Marion Gaffner.
Funeral services for Dee will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 in the United in Faith Church, Pana 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Burial will be in the Westside Cemetery, Moweaqua, IL. A luncheon will follow the committal service at the Community Center, 415 N. Main St., Moweaqua. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the church.
