Deborah Rowley

Deborah “Deb” Rowley, 68 of Decatur passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at St. John’s Hospital, Springfield. She was born March 14, 1957, in Norfolk County, VA to the late Charles Leroy & Joan Jeanette (Thomas) Rowley. Deb married Jerry Huddleston on June 27, 1975. To this union her two boys were born, and they later divorced.

Deb was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Decatur and worked as a purchasing agent for Bodine Services and then Decatur Foundry. She enjoyed shopping, rooting for the Chicago Cubs, and collecting all kinds of gnomes. Deb loved spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her world.

Deb is survived by her boys: Jeff (Sara) Huddleston, Warrensburg, IL; Chris (Haley) Huddleston, Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Nicolette (Justin) Lilly, Justyce Taylor, Aidan Huddleston, Eliza Huddleston, Evie Huddleston; five great-grandchildren; her sister: Patricia “Patty” Shipman in CA; and many cousins and special friends. She was also preceded by her brother, Steve Rowley.

Funeral services for Deb will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Rosemond Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorials in memory of Deb may be made to Pana Veterans Honor Guard and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
