Deborah F. Ditchen, 71, of Bellflower, Illinois, passed away at 7:11 P.M. Sunday, September 22, 2024, at home. Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home of Farmer City, Illinois, is assisting the family with arrangements. Deborah was born on July 24, 1953, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, a daughter of Phillip and Margaret (Highlander) Ditchen. She married Michael Bateman on July 23, 1988, in Bellflower, Illinois. She is survived by her husband, Michael Bateman of Bellflower, Illinois; daughter, Mollie (Peter) Kohler of Polk City, Florida; son, Nicholas (Brandy) Bateman of Mansfield, Illinois; mother, Margaret Ditchen of Lexington, Kentucky; grandchildren, Emma; Kira; Griffin; Aubrey; Austin; and Connor; and brother, Phillip Michael (Judy) Ditchen of Charleston, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her father. Deborah was the Executive Director of Head Start for McLean and Livingston Counties. She was a member of Trinity Community Fellowship of Farmer City, Illinois.
