Dayo O. Adeniyi

Dayo O. Adeniyi, 41, of Bloomington, passed away at 9:30 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019 in Dwight, Illinois.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 6 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home. A private family burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.

Dayo was born March 27, 1978 in Ile-Ife, Nigeria, the son of Ebenie and Evelyn Lawale Adeniyi. His mother preceded him in death.

Surviving are his father, Ebenie, of Bloomington; a sister, Adeola (Peter) Butler of Skokie and two brothers, Dotun (Dava) Adeniyi of Normal and Debo Adeniyi of New York, NY; four nieces and nephews, Nia-Rae and Kellan Adeniyi and Samuel and Olivia Butler.

Dayo graduated from Normal Community West High School. He enjoyed sports, including Formula One Racing; watching movies and Star Wars. He was resilient, kind, strong willed and an amazing uncle to his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
