Darrell Crutcher

Darrell L. Crutcher, 85, of Pana passed away Monday, January 26, 2026 in Pana Health & Rehab. He was born September 17, 1940 in Clinton, IL, son of the late Veryl A. & Freda L. (Swartz) Crutcher. Darrell married Kay Florey on August 13, 1961. She preceded him in death on October 12, 2006. He married Nancy Lee Walters in 2007 and they separated in 2021. She preceded him in death on September 4, 2025.
Darrell worked for Pepsi, attended First United Pentecostal Church, Pana, and enjoyed woodworking.
Darrell is survived by his children: Tina Walter, Florida; Carla Walter-Rench (Johnny Reece), Pana, IL; Mike (Lori) Walter, Owaneco, IL; Tonya Walters, Pana, IL; 12 grandchildren: David, Cassy, Bruce, Jarrad, Whitney, Cody, Larisa, Catlin, Kira, Bobi Jo, Heath & Ashley & 19 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael S. Crutcher; granddaughter, Kimberly Walters; grandson, William M. Walter & siblings: Russell Crutcher, Juanita Elliott, Roy Crutcher, Diana Crutcher, Merl Crutcher.
Per Darrell wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services are planned.
Memorials in Darrell’s honor may be made to donor’s choice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
