Henry: Darlene R. Gonzalez, 76, formerly of Henry, passed away Wednesday April 2, 2025, 2:35 pm at Arcadia Care Center, Toulon. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family graveside service will be held at Henry Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry is in charge of arrangements. Darlene was born on January 20, 1949, in Streator, IL to Glen and Leona (Dodge) Ross. She married Luis Victor Gonzalez on December 27, 1969 in Streator, IL. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2014. Surviving is one daughter, Jessica (Michael) Young, of Pekin, two granddaughters, Ashley Cox, of Pekin and Abigail Cox, of Chillicothe, two sisters, Florence (Athur) Newbrough and Margie Scanland, of Streator. Her parents, two brothers and one sister, preceded her in death. Darlene was a member of the Henry United Methodist Church and the Henry American Legion Auxiliary.
