Daniel Lee "Danny" Schopp Obituary (1961

Daniel Lee “Danny” Schopp, 64, passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at his home. Following Dan’s wishes, there will be private family service, and cremation rites have been accorded. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, Flanagan is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on August 22, 1961, Dan was the son of Raymond and Betty Marcks Schopp. Dan married Kathy Carls on August 22, 1987. Dan is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Schopp of Flanagan; a son Jacob (Hayley) Schopp of Pontiac; a sister Deborah Schopp of Dwight; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Betty Schopp, sisters Vickie Teske and Terry Massey, and brother Mike Schopp. Dan attended Esmen Grade School and Cornell High School. He worked at R.R. Donnelly in Pontiac for several years. Dan was an avid Cardinals fan. He loved to hunt, fish, and go for ranger rides with his dog Tater. Dan loved his family dearly.
