Danieta Grant Obituary (1929 - 2024)

Henry: Danieta Gertrude Grant, 95, of Henry, passed away Wednesday April 10, 2024, 5:53 pm at Henry Rehab & Nursing, Henry. Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held Friday April 19, 2024, 2:00 PM at the Henry Cemetery. Pastor Bill Henry will officiate. Memorials may be directed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry is in charge of arrangements. Danieta was born February 24, 1929, in Hutchinson, KS to Daniel H. and Margaret (Cougher) Schroder. Surviving are her children, Charlotte Cain, of Henry, Jeff Grant, of Lacon and Elizabeth Sullivan, of Hutchinson, KS, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her parents and three sons, Harlan, Steve and Joe Grant, preceded her in death. Danieta had worked as a secretary for several different things, the Salvation Army in Hutchinson, KS along with working at the Henry Post Office, and the Henry News Republican.
