Daniel Leon Young Sr. 65, of St. Charles, MO formerly of Eureka, IL passed away at 10:35 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Evelyn’s House at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Creve Coeur, MO. Graveside services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery, El Paso, IL. A private family visitation will be at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home, El Paso. Daniel was born on September 17, 1959, in Ware, Massachusetts, the son of Edward P. and Betty Lou Ball Young. He married Donna M. Hill on March 7,1986 in Murphysboro, IL. She died October 24, 2010. Surviving are two sons Daniel L. Young Jr. and Brian Young; one brother Michael Young and two sisters Linda Ford and Brenda Young; and two grandchildren Gavinn and Macynn Young. Daniel had worked as a maintenance tech. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
