Daniel J. Butler Obituary (1965) - Bloomington, Illinois

Daniel Joe Butler, of Bloomington Illinois, passed away on January 27th, 2024. He was 58 years old. Dan was born on July 28th, 1965, to Margeret (Peggy) Dodson in Bloomington Illinois. Danny was a rocker, through and through. Some of his favorite bands were AC/DC, Van Halen, not Van Hagar, Skynyrd, and Def Leppard. None of that soft stuff like Leif Garrett. Dan had an infectious smile and a sense of humor that could light a room. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Dodson; sister, Teresa Orrick; son’s Justin and Dillion; grandchildren, Cade, Bodhi, and Elle. He was proceeded by his brother, Michael. Per Dan’s wishes instead of a service, he would love for you to take the time and connect with your friends and family and let them know how much you care for them. Daniel, Dan, or Danny was loved by many, and his memory will live on. In lieu of flowers, and per family request, please consider donating in his name to the Mclean County Humane Society.
