Daniel F. Kennedy 61 of Pontiac, IL died Thursday February 22, 2024 at 1:30pm in Minonk, IL. Cremation rites will be accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home. Memorials in Dan’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Dan was born on May 17, 1962 in Pontiac, IL a son of Harold and Doralee (Faust) Kennedy. Survivors include: his mother: Doralee Kennedy of Warsaw, IN; three children: Joshua (Amanda) Kennedy of Spencer, IN, Thomas (Melissa) Kennedy of Carmel, IN and Maria (Leaf) Vanover of Huntington, IN; seven grandchildren: Gavin, Nicholas and James Kennedy, Maddison, Leaf, Liam and Lynnox Vanover; long time girlfriend: Deb Martin of Pontiac, IL; two brothers: Mike Kennedy of Colfax, IL and Jeff Kennedy of Pontiac, IL; one sister: Vickie Langohr of Pierceton, IN. Dan was preceded in death by his father: Harold Kennedy. Dan was a graduate of Whitko High School. He was a electrician and was employed at SMF in Minonk, IL.
