D. Jeannie Walls, 75 of Pontiac, IL died Tuesday February 2, 2021 at 8:40PM at Tjardes Health Care Center at Evenglow Lodge.
Cremation rites will be accorded and a private family graveside will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Pontiac, IL. Memorials in Jeannie's name may be made to Livingston County Humane Society or Community Cancer Center, Normal, IL. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Pontiac, IL is handling the arrangements.
Jeannie was born on June 13, 1945 in Pontiac, IL a daughter of James and Mabel (Fuss) Stillwell. She married James "Buddy" Walls on June 14, 1963 in Pontiac, IL. He survives in Pontiac. Also surviving are two children: Wendy Walls of Pontiac, IL and David (Jennifer) Walls of Pontiac, IL; four grandchildren: Tanner, Addison, Carson and Lainie Walls. Jeannie was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert and William Stillwell and one sister: Linda Tucker.
Jeannie was employed at Pontiac Chair Factory for twenty-two years and then owned and operated Country Treasures in Pontiac for sixteen years. She then worked at Wal-Mart for twelve years. Jeannie was a member of the First United Methodist Church- Pontiac, IL.
