Surviving are her husband, Randy Fight of Bloomington; a son, Eric Allen Fight of Knoxville, TN; a daughter, Emily Ann Fight of Boone, NC; her mother, Kay Bonvouloir of Normal; and a sister, Barbara Bonvouloir of Normal. She began her working career at Plew-Edelmann in Dixon and was an engineer at Interlake in Pontiac prior to her employment at State Farm Insurance Companies. During her 25-year career at State Farm, Cindy achieved many professional designations, including CPM, ChFC and CPCU. She greatly enjoyed her role as Category Manager in Administrative Services/Purchasing and Distribution. Cindy was past president of the Miller Park Zoological Society and greatly loved nature, whether it be hiking, riding around in the car or simply sitting on the patio watching birds and squirrels. She enjoyed watching baseball, particularly the Cubs, as well as many years spent attending all of her childrens activities and sporting events. Travelling in Europe as a college student sparked a love of exploration in Cindy and she especially treasured taking trips with her husband and kids. She placed a great deal of importance on ensuring her children were exposed to different cultures and experiences. The Fight family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. John Migas and the staff of the Community Cancer Center as well as to Dr. Bose and the staff at the Siteman Cancer Center at Washington University, St. Louis. While Cindys years were far shorter than any of us would like, it can never be said that she didnt live a full, beautiful life.
