Creighton A. Woodburn Obituary (1993 - 2018)

Creighton Alexander Woodburn, 25, of Cornell, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at 6:33 p.m. at his home. He will always be loved and greatly missed. His service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Cornell United Methodist Church in Cornell with Pastor Janeen Tronc officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the church in Cornell. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Creighton was born April 13, 1993 in Pontiac, IL to Scott and Darcy (Gilmore) Woodburn. They survive in Pontiac, IL. Also surviving are his sister, Devyn (Phillip) Rich of Pontiac, IL; grandparents, John and Delores Woodburn of Pontiac, IL and Larry and Patricia Gilmore of Pontiac, IL; aunts and uncles, Angela (Steven) Fenton of St. Charles, MO, Vicky (Jimmy) Jacobs of Las Vegas, NV, Sue (Greg) Paice of La Grange, IL, and Pam (Mike) Behnke of Arlington Heights, IL; niece, Ashtyn Rich of Pontiac, IL; and cousins, Shelbi Jacobs, Shane Gilmore, Savannah Gilmore, Nathan and Josie Fenton, Emily Paice, Danny Paice, Claire Behnke, John Behnke, and Rose Behnke. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Rick Gilmore; and his best friend and beloved dog, Cracker. Creighton was a graduate of Flanagan-Cornell High School, Class of 2011. He worked for Woodburn Construction doing maintenance and construction. Creighton loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and hiking and enjoyed spending time with his friends, family, and his dog. He was a member of Cornell United Methodist Church in Cornell, IL. Memorials may be made to Livingston County Humane Society, 21179 E 1358 N Rd, Pontiac, IL 61764.
