Constance "Connie" Santini Obituary (1938

Constance "Connie" F. Santini, 83, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at 9:53AM, in Pontiac, IL. A celebration of life funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022, at 11AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pontiac, with Father David Sabel officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Pontiac, IL. Friends may call from 10AM until the time of the service at the church. Masks will be required at both the visitation and funeral per the family's wishes. Memorials in her memory may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Pontiac. Cremation rites have been accorded. Calvert and Martin Funeral Home, Pontiac, is handling the arrangements. Connie was born on May 31, 1938, in Bloomington, IL, the daughter of Howard and Gladys (Smith) Williams. She married Lawrence Santini in 1966; they later divorced. She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Ann Wilamowski. Granddaughter, Cali Lina Wilamowski of Melbourne, FL. She is also survived by her sister, Cynthia (Mark) Pierce, and one brother, David (Marilee) Williams of Pontiac, IL, and many nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Rynning of Odell, IL, and one brother, Howard Williams Jr. of Pontiac, IL. Connie graduated from Pontiac Township High School and went on to graduate from MacCormack Business College. She was employed at Argonne National Laboratory in Illinois, AT&T Bell Laboratories, and Amerada Hess Corporation in New Jersey. She returned to Pontiac and became employed for 20 years at Pontiac National Bank/First Financial Bank. Connie loved traveling, and enjoyed Europe, Asia, and Australia. Connie's daughter, Laurie Ann, and granddaughter, Cali, were the greatest joys in her life. Connie loved being with her family and friends. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed golf, reading, and taking cruises. She was a member of the Elks Country Club and the OSF St. James Hospital Auxiliary.
