Constance H. Nichols Obituary (1937

Constance H. Nichols, 83 of Ramsey passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Prairie Rose Heath Care, Pana. She was born July 12, 1937 in Ramsey, IL daughter of the late Cecil & Izola Green. Constance was of the Pentecostal Faith. She enjoyed gardening, singing, and preaching the gospel. Constance married Wesley Howard on August 20, 1951 and he preceded her in death. She then married James Nichols on May 29, 1966 and he preceded her in death in 2001. Surviving Constance are her children: Victoria (Roy) Gough, Glendale, AZ; Barbara (Pete) Moreno, Moore Haven, FL; Wesley Dean (Marcia) Howard, Bakersfield, CA; Shauna Green, Pana, IL; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings: Donna (Doyle) Cantrell, Tower Hill, IL; Vina Cole, Mt. Pleasant, IA; sister in law: Janet Douglas, Pana, IL. Several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husbands Constance was preceded in death by her son Dennis Howard in 2012, siblings: Raymond Green, Bobby Green, William Green, Dallas Green, Cecil "Jr" Green, Marylou Green, & Doris James. A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020 in Twin Pines Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Memorials in Constance's honor may be made to the donor's choice and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
