Clarence attended elementary and high school at St. Paul’s in Odell. He worked at Caterpillar in Joliet for more than 30 years, both in the office and in the factory. He was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Odell, and more recently, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pontiac.

Although he was a fan of the Green Bay Packers for his entire life and loved mowing and working in his lawn, Clarence was never happier than when he was with Sharon enjoying the many activities of his grandchildren. His family would like him to be remembered as a kind soul who loved his family deeply. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandpa, and great grandpa. He will be deeply missed by all, especially his very large extended family.

Pam and Julie would like to extend a special thank you for the caring team at OSF Hospice for their care and support.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 8th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pontiac. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the church with the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Odell.
