Clara D. Henderson Obituary (1907 - 2009)

Clara D. Henderson, 102, of Taylorville, IL died at 10:15 am Thursday, September 24, 2009 in Taylorville. She was born April 13, 1907 in Ohlman, the daughter of George and Anna Marie Brockman Johnson. On July 7, 1928 she married Ellis H. Henderson in Ohlman and he preceded her in death on September 30, 1988. Mrs. Henderson was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville, Ladies of The Moose, and United Methodist Woman. Surviving are her nephews: Moe Johnson and wife Judy of Taylorville, Ed Johnson of Taylorville and Ronald Henderson of Alabama. There are several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Donald Henderson, 3 brothers and 5 sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, September 28, 2009 at McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville with Rev. Charlie Sward officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
