Chris Shelton Obituary (1962

Chris Shelton, 61, of Lacon, IL passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Chris was born on February 1, 1962 in Fairfield, IL the son of Bert V. and Lola E. (McCollum) Shelton. He married Juanita M. Cantrell on January 31, 1986 in Bloomington, IL. He worked for the Carpenters Local Union #237. Surviving is his wife of 37 years, Juanita. Three children: Joelle (Drew) Plummer of Lacon, IL; Tabitha Shelton (Trevor Darling) of Peoria Heights, IL; Daniel (Audra) Shelton of Fargo, ND; two sisters and three brothers; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. Chris’s wishes for cremation are being arranged by Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry. The family will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date..
