Cheryl Ann Beeson

Cheryl Ann Beeson, 71 of Pana passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at Pana Community Hospital. She was born January 5, 1948 in Shelbyville to the late Donald C. & Alice L. (Hopkins) Fisher.
Cheryl lived most of her live in the Pana, Tower Hill area. She began her career in a nursing home by working in the kitchen preparing meals and later went on to earn her certificate as a CNA. When she wasn't caring for others, she enjoyed reading and working crossword and jigsaw puzzles.
Cheryl is survived by her children: Chris (Tony) Durbin of Taylorville, Rick Torbeck of Pana, Shannon Gatton of Taylorville; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; special friend Leroy Burke of Shelbyville; and siblings Randy Fisher and Janet (David) Douglas both of Pana. She was preceded by her parents; son Randy Joe Pastor; grandsons Robert and Anthony Hoover; and brother Donald L. Fisher.
Funeral Services for Cheryl will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Derrick Ritchie officiating. Burial will be in Tower Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials in Cheryl's honor may be made to the choice of the donor and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
