Charlotte L. Schulte Obituary (1940

TOLUCA- Charlotte L. Schulte, 83, of Toluca passed away at 4:00 am on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Goldwater Care in Toluca. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Toluca. Her funeral service will be at 10 AM on Saturday, August10, 2024, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Toluca with Pastor Mauricio Vieira officiating with visitation 1 hour prior to services at church also. Interment will be in Old Salem Cemetery in Washburn. Memorials may be given to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Toluca, or to Eastern Marshall County EMS or Toluca/Rutland Fire Dept. Calvert & Johnson Memorial home in Toluca is in charge of arrangements. Charlotte was born in Peoria, Illinois on October 12, 1940, a daughter to Earl and Mary Hayes Stevens. She married Wesley Schulte in Toluca on July 23, 1967. He preceded her in death in 2007. Surviving is her 2 sons: Norman and Rodney Schulte, both of Toluca; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by both of her parents. Charlotte worked at the Secor candy factory, and she was also a homemaker and a mother. She was a past member of the Illinois Valley REACT, a past member of the Junior Women’s Club, and she was a Sunday School and Bible School teacher at her church for many years.
