Cecelia Mae Morris

Cecilia "Mae" Morris, 97, of Taylorville passed away at 8:30am on Tuesday November 27, 2012 at the Taylorville Care Center. She was born on December 28, 1914 in Christian County, the daughter of James and Gertrude Durbin Lamb. She married Clarence Morris on September 24, 1940 in East St. Louis Illinois. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1986. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville as well as the CDof A and Eagles. She worked for the Federal Government for many years dealing with computers.

Cecilia is survived by her sister, Annabelle Norville, of Taylorville; Brothers: John Lamb of Taylorville, and Edward Lamb of Texas; Step-Daughter- Wanda Wunderlich of Seattle, Washington; and several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister: Mary Louise Younker; Brother: Ray Lamb; Parents, and Husband.

A committal service will be held on Friday November, 30, 2012 at 11:00am in the chapel of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, Missouri with Fr. Terry Borgerding officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 until 7pm at the McClure Funeral Home in Taylorville, with a wake service at 5pm officiated by Fr Alan Hunter.
